It’s been way way too long since I’ve posted anything, and I just want you all to know that I’m very much alive and still cooking. Since my last post, Jonathan has graduated from CRNA school, we’ve relocated up north (brrrr!), and we’re buying a house. In other words, life has been over-the-top crazy busy, but blessed.
One big blessing I received as a Christmas gift: Chloe’s Vegan Italian Cookbook.
LOVE. IT.
If you don’t have it, order it pronto. (And, no, this isn’t a sponsored post.)
One recipe that I’ve loved has been Chloe’s Fabulous Focaccia (pictured above). We took it to a potluck/Bible study at our church with vegan creamy tomato soup, and every last crumb was quickly devoured.
In addition to staying home with cute kiddos and cooking for my family, I’ve been trying to keep up my NP knowledge base by flooding my mind with CE activities. Hopefully, in a few months, I’ll be able to do NP work part-time, which is really exciting for me to think about. With everything that is happening at the moment, I am left with very little time to keep up with this little bloggity blog–which leaves me pondering some questions. How often should I aim to post a new recipe? What kind of recipes should I focus on making?
I’d love to hear all of your ideas and suggestions on how you balance family and work life and on what you’d like to see on Vegan Yumminess. Drop me a comment below.
In the meantime, make yourself some fab focaccia!

Yay! You’re back on here! I’m so psyched to try this bread for Friday dinner to usher in the Sabbath. We always have soup, salad and bread on Friday nights. This looks divine. Love and hugs to you and your precious family. :)

I enjoy your recipes and look forward to new ones. I especially appreciate that they are practical and I often have the same stuff in my frig that you do! I tell others about your blog and the great recipes you have. My church is doing a supper club where we can bring a dish and share a recipe. I’m sure I will be stealing a few of yours. I’m glad you are getting settled in at your new location.
