Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/4 cup flour (all-purpose or whole wheat--both work fine)
- 1/2 cup Florida cane juice crystals (or your choice of pure cane sugar)
- 1 teaspoon Ener-G baking powder (or other aluminum free baking powder)
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/3 cup vegan margerine (I use Earth Balance)
Directions
Step 1 | |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, then miix oats, flour, cane juice crystals, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. | |

Add your cold vegan margarine and mix with a fork or with your fingers until mixture is crumbly. | |
Step 3 | |
Sprinkle mixture over your apple/blackberry filling in a 8.5 X 8.5 baking dish, until all of your mixture is gone. | |
Step 4 | |
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until crumble topping becomes golden brown. |
