Ingredients
- 14oz extra firm tofu (sliced into 1/2 inch thick triangles)
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
- 4 tablespoons Bragg's liquid aminos
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Directions
Step 1 | |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2 | |
Cut tofu into 1/2 inch thick triangles. I do this by slicing the block of tofu like a loaf of bread, then cut each "slice" in half diagonally.
Step 3 | |
Mix remaining ingredients in small bowl, and carefully dip each piece of tofu into the liquid mix. After brushing off the excess, place tofu pieces on a prepared cookie sheet (I use a non-stick liner.). Make sure no two tofu pieces are touching each other.
Step 4 | |
Bake the whole thing at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes, then flip each tofu bite. Bake for another then minutes at 350 degrees, then turn your oven up to 450 degrees for about 5 minutes, or until edges of tofu are beginning to get brown and crispy.
Step 5 | |
Allow the tofu to cool before serving. Enjoy! |
